Am a little more awake now. Somehow dragged myself to class today morning, was really tired, hardly got enough sleep over the last couple of days but had sooooo much fun. Didn't want to come back. Bangalore really cannot compete with Kolkata, I don't understand why they call it the garden city!! Kolkata is more charming from every angle! Of course, it helps that all the mama's and mami's and mashi's and dada's and bon's (basically aunts and uncles and cousins) are there and also the weather was very pleasant, its MUCH hotter in Bangalore than in Kolkata at the moment.
Kolkata ROCKS! We were totally charmed! It has this old feeling about it. Its almost like travelling back in time. And everything is round in Kolkata which makes it more interesting than Bangalore where everything is so square. You know like the taxis are little boxes and then the IT companies are big boxes and the houses and medium boxes... In Kolkata its all more rounded. This totally makes sense in my head! You'll understand when you see it for yourself. Its just one of the things that really struck me.
