Meet Georgia and Gina...

Usually when it comes to crafty things, I get all excited, convince someone to teach me, start in a frenzy with great big goals - which peaks on the second day - and then I start losing interest... It's happened with knitting, stitching and crocheting... So when I bought this little counted cross-stitching kit from Ooty, it was with plenty of hesitation because I wasn't sure if I would actually ever complete it...
Well, I'm happy to say I did! And also I like this so much better than knitting.
So meet Georgia and Gina! Aren't they cute!?
Tea-time. More later!

We're having a 'gala-time'!

So exams finally got over yesterday! Yay!! We planned to simply go home and SLEEP yesterday but of course that didn't exactly happen! Sonu, Jo, Antu and I headed to churchgate and feasted on Chicken Stroganoff, Garlic Steak Sizzler and Ice Tea... And then I headed home and watched The Reader AND Revolutionary Road. Yah, I'm crazzzzy sometimes!

Today, we headed to Vashi in New Mumbai to spend the night at Sharan's place and we've been having a fantabulous time! We've watched two chick-flicks (Sweet Home Alabama and Nottinghill) and now we're going to watch Love Actually now :)

Vini and I also take full advantage of the swimming pool and I think the pictures show how HAPPY we were in there! We actually swimmed a LOT less than we fooled around and got tired much faster than we should have but we swam after YEARS so I think we did pretty good!

Of course there's been a lot of good food too, thanks to Sharan's mom! And oh yeah, ice cream too!

More pictures to come! :)

Ow, My brain.

Two exams down. Yesterday was a joke (as in 'ha-ha funny joke'.. I'm pretty sure people were cursing us in the canteen yesterday for laughing so much before the exam over our brilliant textbook). Today was OK.

The canteen is quite a sight during exam[s]. All that tension in the air and last-minute cramming!

Who knew afternoon naps on hot summer days felt SO GOOD? And especially when you need to study. Seriously, they feel SO GOOD. Yesterday Jo and I decided to sleep at 2:30pm for an hour and then we'd call each other at 3:30pm to make sure we were awake. I called her at 4pm.

Yes, summer is here. Summer is bad in Mumbai. Summer is apparently worse in Bangalore. Better prepare myself for that. This city has spoiled me in that way. Two years and never experienced a power cut.

Anyway, I'm off to cash in on my siesta. Next exam - Monday! Yahoo! But I have promised myself that today (after the nap, of course!) I will study like I have an exam tomorrow.

Toodles.
